WELCOME TO NOVA CAELI

Survivors often face significant challenges after escaping domestic abuse. Poverty, disability and trauma make rebuilding difficult. Leaving beloved pets behind adds an additional layer of grief. Our mission serves to keep families and pets together and help them return to a place of peace, wellness and independence through post-escape support. In doing so, we expand victim services, build stronger support systems, remove obstacles to escape and create quality of life that enables victims to escape and thrive. 

Nova Caeli translates to “fresh air” in Latin, and we are committed to helping families create new beginnings after domestic violence. Together, through the power of community and education, we can create happier, healthier lives for survivors and their pets.
