Individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and homelessness often face significant barriers to rebuilding
their lives including poverty, disability, inaccessible shelter options, trauma, and limited access to essential resources.

For those with pets, the lack of pet-friendly shelters, housing restrictions, and unaffordable pet deposits leave them
facing an unbearable choice: remain unhoused or in an abusive relationship or surrender their beloved companions. 

At Nova Caeli, we believe meeting basic needs is key to stabilization. Access to safe shelter, nutritious
food, rest, personal hygiene, and other essential resources allows people to shift their focus from survival
toward recovery and stability. Through compassionate, dignified support, we work to remove barriers, keep
families and their pets together, and empower people to move toward greater stability and independence.

Together, through the power of community and compassion, we can help our neighbors rebuild, recover and rise.
